hey i need answers realy realy fast how do you shrink pants?

hey my mom got me these super cute pair of pants and there like a size or 2 to big how can u shrink em make it as simple as possible i put em in the drier realy hot right now will that work thanks

1) wash the pants in REALLY HOT water
2) dry the pants in a REALLY HOT dryer

try them on, then wash/dry again if you need to.

depending on the fabric, they could shrink up a lot (cotton) or not much at all (synthetic fabrics). but after 1 or 2 times, they will reach their shrink point.
