i want to start writing songs becasue it seems fun and en joyable what is a good way to have a good start and what sparks ideas for a good song .I have been inspired by many songwriters and artists and hearing there lyrics is an insiration. for example if you watch t.v nat wolff from the naked brothers band he is only twelve and he writes his own songs and the songs are greathes a great inspiration

dude, poetry is a good way to write songs. It rhymes, the lines are of similar proportion... poetry.com will help with poetry skills... but write about anything you feel compelled to write about. If anything's bothering you and you can't get your frustration out, make a poem. If you're UBER happy because you got maried or something, write a poem. Something simple, something to the point. Then, concentrate on those feelings, and either sing or compose on whatever instrument in sound the way you feel. Just experiment with notes and chords until you find what makes you feel that way.

First I would start with buying a notebook that will have nothing but your ideas and songs in it. Then any time that you're inspired to write, put your thoughts down in there. The only way that you can become a good writer is if you are constantly writing... it takes lots of practice.

You should start by getting a Songwriters Rhyming dictionary. It helped me a lot.
