I had a misscarriage on Sunday and am deeply saddened by our loss, It was this first baby with my new husband and he was so excited, We are wanting to have another baby, How long should we wait before having any type of Sex? What would happen if we had sex some time this week?

if you had a miscarriage on sun i wouldn't advice it. you should wait until you finish your post miscarriage bleeding as you have to make sure that all of the tissue has come out. you have to keep getting your hormone levels checked to make sure that they are down to 0. it's best to let your body heal both pysically and mentally. the dr. suggest at least waiting one cycle before trying again as they want to have an accurate conception date if you get pg again. wait until you are ready b/f you try again. i know how you feel and take the time to grieve. just remember everything happens in GOD'S time.,not ours. take care. ps.

Sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in September and i was not ready to try again. I waited until i stopped bleeding to have protected sex and well in October i had a period by November I was pregnant again yes with condoms. I am very happy but i was very terrified that i was going to have another miscarriage again, but everything looks good and i am 19 weeks and counting. Good luck and just see how your body is then decide. I am coming up on the due date of my miscarriage and I'm getting a bit sad because I think of it but on the other hand I am very happy that god gave me another child.

I'm sorry, I have had a miscarriage before too. I would talk to your doctor because they can tell you the best time to start trying again. If it is not painful I would think you could have sex again when you wanted but I would use protection until I saw my doctor. You probably should ask your doctor before that too but I didn't wait. Trying to have a kid now could cause another miscarriage to happen because your body isn't healed and ready yet. Good luck!

i feel sad for you my sister lost 2 babys that way and there,s no pain worse then the lost of a baby,my lady friend lost her baby from crib death,10 years a go and it hard to give any women an answer to why it had to happenand you may feel alone but this is the time to be even closer to each other. but the only real reason why things like this happens is because you may have 0.pos blood and the baby had 0.negitve it happen to a friend of mine and that,s what the doctor said to her when they found out why through tests, o pos blood kills o negitve blood, if the baby had o.pos and you had o. negitive you would had die not the baby.that,s the only real answer i can give you. sarry for your lost.xoxoxo.

I feel bad for you loss Sweetie, but know that you are not alone. A great many first pregnancies result in miscarriage.
I had one too years ago and it did not prevent me from having sex with my husband very soon afterwards. As long as you are comfortable, I'd go right ahead if you want to.

I am so sorry about your lose, hun. I had a miscarriage in Nov 2005, and the dr told me to wait 6 montsh before trying to concieve again. We weren't even trying to have one (it was a surprise baby) but she did mention taht to me. Also my friend has a miscarriage and they told her 6 montsh as well, and it was different drs. I believe the dr told me 3 weeks before having sex again. Also I DID NOT have a d & c so that might have a factor in it.

sex will hurt the doctor im sure told you to wait a month before having sex, with both of mine thats what i was told your body has to heal inside and out. no sex for at least a month to 3 months

If by sex you mean trying to have another baby, i believe you should wait a bit. Your body must heal itself and unless you want to lose another baby id wait a couple months to start trying again.

2) Wait at LEAST 3 months to start trying to have a baby again --let your body heal.

3) Just see your doctor. No one knows your body better than you and your doctor.
