do you only get them if your parents or family members had them

or maybe there was something wrong with you/the mother during the pregnancy

and if you had one would it be known when you are born

or could you really find out say 16-17 years later on in life

even if you feal no pain or discomfort you have normal periods no problems with having sex blah blah blah

Sometimes there is a genetic component to genital defects.
You would have had some already, if that were the case.
Why do you seem worried about it?
Are you concerned about not being able to get pregnant?
