i am trying for a baby with my partner and i dont find out if im preganet for 2 weeks and i dont want to risk anything! i have just be prescibed amoxycillian for tonsilitus?

The best thing is to check with your doctor. I work at a pharmacy and I see pregnant women are prescribed amoxicillin all the time, so as far as I know it is safe but it is always best to check with your doctor or pharmacist.

Amoxicillian is reliatively the only "safe" antibiotic to take during pregnancy. Always check with your doctor first. By "safe" I mean most all medications have some kind of warning during pregnancy. Please get ahold of your doc before taking anything, good luck :)
