My sister doesn't have the installation CD anymore and I would like to know how to edit on or if there is a downloadable version? Any help would be appreciated.

go to apple's website www.apple.com
and download the latest version of itunes.
Once it's installed, connect your ipod.
Itunes will warn you that the ipod is currently synced to another itunes library on a different computer.
when it asks you if you want to sync it to your computer, click no.
then click on the name of the ipod in the left hand side column and you'll be able to rename it.

You you have a ipod that has a id lock on it and you need to unlock it right? Haha....If you got it from your "sister" ask her!

when you plug it into iTunes (if you don't have iTunes on your computer goto www.itunes.com) you should have an option to "Restore". That will erase everything including your sister's name. You'll be able to rename it as if it were brand new.

click itunes then connect your ipod from there you will see the name of the ipod . double click it then change the name to yours
