Try mixing a little of it with real ink. If you ever saw the "Red Violin" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120802/ he did the same thing with the paint or varnish that he made for the violin.

nope!
Sadly,it would dry before you could write with it using a fountain pen. & besides, the acidity of one's blood would quickly corrode the nibs,& your 'ink' would look like a semi-transparent BROWN.
the legibility depends on the paper used & your penmanship more than the writing medium used. But clotting would definately be something to watch out for.Blood isn't red water with Red Blood Cells in it.It is in fact a solution with sugars & salts & ions too. all those chemical levels of things would affect how well that 'project' turned out.

If you prick your finger, and rub it on paper, you notice that it works for a little bit as a decent ink.
Unfortunately, since blood readily coagulates, you would not be able to use it very long. If you mixed it with an anti-coagulant before putting it in your pen, it would probably last longer.
Also, as the blood is an organic compound, it would not archive well on any type of paper.

I would suggest to use a chinese ink pen, like the vintage pens. The ones where you dip the point of it in the ink, or blood. It would work nicely.

Yes but you would have to do it very quickly because blood begins to coagulate (Thicken up) with in a few minutes.
