When simplifying the radical of any square you always want to find a perfect square root (for example, a perfect square root would be the square root of 9 which is 3 or the square root of 16 which is 4 or the square root of 25 which is 5, etc, etc.). In this case 100 x 2 = 200 and it so happens that 100 is a perfect square root. The square root of 100 is 10 so all you are left with is the square root of 2. Your answer is 10 square root of 2.
