You could try wearing a pantie liner all the time and carrying pads or tampons in your purse or locker. The pantie liner will keep any accidents from becoming public knowledge. Now that you have your period you need to get used to having pads with you at all times. Honestly there aren't a whole lot of women that can time their periods. They have an estimate at best. So it's better to just be prepared just in case. Don't be self conscious about carrying pads either. There is no shame in being a woman. You're not the only female that gets her period. Don't let those stupid commercials fool you into believing you have to over conceal your feminine products. Good luck and welcome to the club!

It can actually take more than two years to regulate, but it differs from person to person. I'm 17 and mine hasn't really been "regular" in the time span between when my last and recent period, and I got my first when I was 12, though I finally did regulate it through birth control just for that reason. (But always consult a doctor and talk it through with your parents before taking any hormonal medications, obviously.)
Some people may develop cramps later, some may not - for those who have cramps, they're lucky enough to get a warning. When I first started, I counted approximately 28 days from the first day of my period to estimate the first day of the next period and prepared myself 5 days before and was still prepared 5 days after. Keep some extra underwear and pads/tampons hidden somewhere in your locker or backpack just in case.
Also, there's often a sign of some sort of discharge. It sounds weird, but watch your undies. Before a period, some tend to get this pre-period mucousy discharge (gross, I know, but it gets the message through), and some experience discomfort or soreness in their breasts, become moody, experience headaches or back pains, bloating, fatigue, and you may feel you need to go to the bathroom more frequently.

Keep tampons/pads with you at all times, and a spare change of underwear. I doubt you period will be strong enough to go through your pants, so I wouldn't worry about that. If you find yourself without a pad or tampon, you can use some toilet paper instead.

well i guess you could go talk to your doctor to see if there is a problem with your regularity and if so you can always go on the pill, its not just used for contraception but is useful for women with irregular periods as it regulates them
most women with have some "globby" clear dishcharge, or when u wipe after peeing , leading up to their period when you are ovulating .

most symptoms of you period getting ready to begin would be cramping, irritability, soreness of your breasts......
Hope this answers your question
It is normal not to be regular...just try to be prepared by carrying personal items in your purse......
