Nah, if you are completely anovulatory then 100mgs is fine to start. The odds are that 50mg won't work for you so your doc is doing the right thing. Let us know how it goes!

hi ya i'm on cycle 2 of 50mg clomid and additionally the 500mg two times daily of metformin. oftentimes you ovulate 7-10 days after your final clomid pill. the 1st cycle i did no longer ovulate. This cycle uncertain yet issues are definately distinctive. i'm on CD22 and because CD 19 I somewhat have had genuine sore boobs and am somewhat somewhat moody lol. uncertain if its purely raised hormones or something extra. If that's no longer my month my checklist putting me on 100mg of clomid to help pass issues on slightly. on the 1st cycle its somewhat uncommon to fall preggers besides the certainty that t does take place. that's b/c your physique is adjusting. good success love and supplying you with a lot of toddler dirt!!! xxx

No it's okay I took 50 2 times a day. so that would equal 100.
