I see no problem with having two mentors, write your paper on both of them giving them the equal credit they deserve.

There is no reason what so ever not to have more than one mentor. How wonderful that you have a great Mom as one of them! And the other person must be great as well. Why not write your paper on the both of them? You can devote the first part to your Mom and follow it up with the other person. You just may be the only one in your class to do a paper like that ...so it should stand out.You can always speak to your teacher and tell her or him and he or she can make suggestions. Best of luck with your paper !

It is not wrong to have two mentors. In fact, I have a lot of different ones in my life. One for career, one for spiritual matters, one for personal character. I think I look up to them for many of the same reasons, that they would like each other. But they have helped me in one area more than others.

What I would do is write about one, as instructed in the assignment. Write about the one that you think is easiest to explain yourself. And don't worry about it, they probably don't even know about the assignment so it's not like you will hurt anyone's feelings by picking just one.

For your own journalling, etc you could always write another essay on your own, about other people you look up to.

PS you asked in another question, for someone to talk to. I put you on my contact list for this reason. You can email me, I am waiting and hoping to hear from you. I remember what it was like to feel like you do.

you can have as many as you need or want. mentors are sposed to give away thier help to you for free, not so they can buy rights to your soul. And if they truely want the best for you, they wont mid however many mentors you have. think of it as having two grans.
