I'm pretty sure they won a national championship last year? I think he had a little something to do with it. You're crazy man. Did he beat your team?

Not athletic? Are you sure you've been watching the same guy play that the rest of us have? He averages around 12.1 ppg, 8.2 rpg, and close to an average 2 blocks per game. And keep in mind, he plays on a team with 4 other guys who average 10 points or better per game. This is versus a Kevin Durant who averages 25 points a game, but aside from Augustin is the central figure in their offense. Oden averages a little over 2 points and 1 rebound more a game then Noah, with a more consistent supporting cast. And considering Oden is a potential #1 draft pick, I don't think you can say Noah is overrated.
He also hustles unlike most players at his position that I've seen. He's all over the floor and whether is be swatting at cheeleaders and coaches or going for the ball....you can't deny his talent.
He also has that uncanny knack for getting into the heads of his opponents. It's that little something that puts him over the top and will work for him in the "ego-centric" NBA.
I'm a Kentucky fan. I absolutely HATE the kid and will be glad when he's gone. But as a basketball fan, you have to respect his talent.

Joakim Noah does not suck. He's underachieved this year true but he is a good player. I look for him to show what kind of player he truly is in the tournament.

I wouldn't say he sucks or that he's not athletic. He is not the explosive, dominant offensive player that you might have been expecting. But he rebounds, defends, blocks shots, and does the little things that add up to make a great team player. It's not like he's being compared to Durant or Oden, but the kid does have a NC ring. I wouldn't say he is overrated. I think he is exactly as most analysts and coaches perceive him as.

I wonder the same thing. I think he is regarded as a good player because his father is some tennis player and he has a unique look(nappy head). Did you see his "dance" after the Gators won the SEC Championship? Ridiculous. He did win a national championship but there are 4 other players on the court who are better than him. Top 5 pick? I seriously doubt it.

he played extremely well in the title run last year, is big, and seems to have a good attitude and work ethic. However, what impresses people the most about him is that he is a very cerebral player for his size and skill level. There are going to be people reconsidering their evaluations after this year, however, especially if Florida gets knocked out of the tournament early.
