Or by definition do the stretchiness make it have holes and therefore leak?

yes, dog. check to medical field, there are a lot of different applications for the fabric you are looking for (some band-aids, medical appliances, etc). Of course there are limits on the stretchability and how water resistant (I don't think one can say waterproof in this case) it is, but you must make trade offs.

btw- I think the guy above meant a drysuit, not a wetsuit. A wetsuit allows water in, hence the name wetsuit, but that is a good comment :)

The stuff they make wetsuits out of. Waterproof and stretchy.

maybe Gore-Tex Stretch -- you can cover bicycle helmets with it -- they make stretchy gloves with it -- lots of other stuff that has to stretch but needs to be waterproof ..
