The first thing that comes to mind is that he may be having minor seizures. I have a friend that when he gets stressed or upset he experiences minor seizures (he has been diagnosed with a minor case or epilepsy). This may be something to have checked if you haven't done so already!

Try to do things that will make him more comfortable... find out what makes him shake and avoid that situation. Just keep him calm and reassure him about whatever he is worrying about.

Maybe he is having a panic attack. Take him to see a doctor he may need something for anxiety.
