Easily the Mavs, they are 52-10 and have had three streaks of 12 or more, they have only lost to one team (the Warriors) more than once this season. The Mavs are easily the best team in the league, and are the clear favorites to win the title with the Suns, Spurs, and Pistons being the other top contenders.

obviously none of you have seen the newly reguvinated Detroit Pistons and there star center Chris Webber whos averaging 14 and 8. They are 14-4 in their last 18 games. Look at the starters

PG- Billups- 18 pts 8 assists
SG- Hamilton- 21 pts 4 assists
SF- Prince- 14 pts 6 rebs
PF- Wallace- 12 pts 8 rebs 2 blks
C- Webber- 13 pts 8 rebs

Now show me another team with numbers and depth like that

Obviously the Mavericks. You'd have to be a hermit to not know that the Mavericks is the best team in the NBA

Well, on the board its the Mavs, but i think the Suns is gonna win the ring. Because the are so good with Amaré back if the Suns are healty nobody can beat them.

regular season reacords dont matter very much. take the chargers who lost their first play off game to the experienced pats. in the nba though id take the spurs over the mavs because of the spurs have been there done that.

Do you mean this season? In that case its hard to argue against Dallas. If you mean ever, then the 60's Celtics (specifically the mid 60's when Russell was in his prime) take the cake.

I'd have to say right now the Mavs based on their record and the fact that they are already officially in the playoffs.
