As you might know, MJ has already all but guaranteed that the Bobcats coach Bickerstaff aint coming back next season. Given the conditions in Charlotte, I think Bickerstaff did a hell of a job. He did some good drafting, (Gerald Wallace, and Raymond Felton). MJ did not draft well while in Washington. Kwame Brown became a joke. I think with MJ leading that team as far as determing which player to put on the court goes, he is going to do some damage.

For now, the jury's out. MJ was inexperianced in Washington, and it is far too early to tell how he's doing in Chalotte. However, i disagreed with his drafting Morrison as high as he did (with all due respect to the 'stache), and publically dismissing his coach with more than a month left to go in the season is a peculiar move, regardless of whether Bickerstaff is a good coach or not (i happen to think he is a good fit for the young, building Bobcats). However, judging less than a year into his reign is probably premature.

Right now I'd have to say no. As you said he didn't do well in Washington, he never really knew what direction he wanted the team to go in. I feel bad for Charlotte that Bickerstaff isn't coming back because despite how they've looked this season I think he was starting to take them in a positive direction. I'm not sure what Jordan will do with more control of the team.

As far as managing Washington, he wasn't that good. He hasn't been able to do much but fire Bickerstaff in Charlotte so we'll have to see how it plays out.

MJ will never be a good manager because he is a perfectionist and nobody will ever be able to meet his expectations.
