I need help organizing my computer. My files are all over the place.?

Create a master folder on your desktop, within create folders of specific directories - Like Docs, Pics, Music, Videos...etc.
Start locating, by searching for file extensions, like .doc, .jpg, .avi, .mp3, .pdf...etc from the search tool and transferring your files into these folders, and when you save files discipline yourself to place them there.
Once you get all the mess cleaned up you can transfer them where they really belong, like, My Pics, My Music...etc within the windows directory or leave them on your desktop!

Hi, the easiest way to organize your files, is by creating folders, you can do that by going to "My Computer" you'll see that icon on your desktop, just click that icon and click on folders.

Then right click on your C: drive
then click open. Now your on your C: drive and right click and select folder

The best way to organize is like, to create a folder named Friends, and you can place all your files from your Friends in your Friends folder, then you can create a folder called Ideas, and place all your neat stuff that you have created for fun. You get the idea, then create a folder called Stuff and throw all your other things in there, until you decide how to break your stuff down into smaller folders under stuff. Hope this helps enjoy!

make up a new folder and put all your files in there at least it will be all in 1 place a lot easier to find files

Firstly,defragment ur drive...after which u create main folders for music, documents and pictures etc...then u manually need to locate and organise it.Cheers!
