Does anyone know the rules to badminton?

We recently purchased a badminton set, and have been using it a lot lately, but we don't exactly know the rules. So, What are the rules to badminton?

There are a lot of rules in badminton, but, of course, part of it depends on how stringent you want to be - competitive badminton is more strict than most people realize. Basically the same as Tennis, except you can't let the bird hit the ground at all.
