I'm saving up for a Dell XPS system w/ accessories, and the total came out to around $7,200. I've been offered a construction job during the summer, and I know construction pays well... but how well? Also, are there any other jobs that could help me get this kind of money a little quicker?

I'm not asking for an easy job... I just need a way to get the money in less than a year. It's a goal for me.

Just to note, I have many gifts and talents--according to those who notice--such as digital art and imaging, composing/producing music, writing poems and stories, and other things.

Just an example of my artwork:

I know it isn't that great, but I feel my skills could at least help me achieve my goals. So, any advice?

Construction does pay pretty decent depending on where you are. It can pay anywhere between a $10 an hour to several hundred dollars a day. I knew someone years ago that worked construction. The only bad thing with that job though....when it rained, he didn't work. No work, no money. But not all construction companies are like that.

Making $7000 in a "few" months is pretty difficult unless you've got a great paying job which is hard to get with experience. I suggest either lowering your computer costs by getting rid of the stuff you don't really need right away, then work for what you can really afford, and save up for those extras you want.

If you want to make money online, give the Survey Income System a try ( http://tonydanza1.surveyis.hop.clickbank.net/ )
Basically, companies pay people to evaluate and take surveys on a wide spectrum of subjects, and can pay anywhere from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars.
