Dont worry about what others think and expect of you. Who cares if the house is a mess, and the dishes are not done and you stay in your jamies all day...not your baby and he/she is who matters!
Help each other have at least an hours break each day...
Get a sitter once a week so you can have mummyand daddy time(very Important!)
Good luck, and welcome to parenthood!

You haven't stated whether babe is born yet but either way, I would suggest talking with other parents and you'll soon find that everyone shares some of the same anxieties and it is interesting to hear how others cope with differing situations. Also for the mum - join a baby group. to relax and chill out (or attempt to) try massage, walking, long baths. Turn off the TV if no one is watching it 'cause that background incessant noise and chatter coming from it can really irritate and you may not even realise it is contributing to your stress. Play relaxing, calming music, burn incense and oils - lavender is very calming and relaxing. Also if it is possible, take a day time nap. If baby is already born then have a nap when baby is also sleeping.

Get plenty of rest. Go for walks when it's cooler out so you're comfortable. Take your time getting the nursery ready and preparing. Just enjoy being pregnant. And listen when people say sleep!

Just relax. The beginning is really the easiest. Baby sleeps for most of the first month.
Enjoy that, it doesn't last long. You'll be wishing he/she was back at that stage. You don't want to stress yourself out or you'll miss it and wish you had just relaxed and enjoyed the time you had.
Don't take everyone elses advice. Follow your instincts as a mother, you'll no what's best for your baby.

Have someone watch the baby and take a walk, go see a movie, take a bath, anything that you enjoy.

Get plenty of rest, and read helpful pregnancy books so she knows what to expect.
