I keep my purse by my desk, and my husband has a drawer. we are just curious where other people put theirs.

We have a shelf by the front door with pegs underneath & a couple of shelves on the floor. Keys, wallet, sunglasses on the shelf, purse & jackets on the pegs, shoes on the lower shelves.

Well... I try not to carry a purse, because... well it just gets in the damned way now-a-days. So I have a good jacket with zipper pockets, I leave the wallet (it's actually a "card-case" that I put a few cards in and a few dollars and zips/folds closed (have two different once)) and my keys -- depending on if i'm working or not... if I'm working they go back into my work jacket so I won't be lost in the morning trying to find them. Or if I'm not working, they go in a basket right next to my closet on a tall table by the light switch. Hit the light, and there's my keys. Great! =D

keys goes behind the door on the key holder and my wallet goes on by bed side table along with any extra change that I may have in my pocket. my wife keeps her keys in her purse and her purse all over the room.

I installed 2 hooks near the entryway to hang the keys. (One for my keys, one for my gf's)
I keep my wallet in my desk.

i think u both want to keep separate. so order for 2 safes(close cabinets).there u both can separately keep that money ur jewellery,watch and many more. and finally lock it (if u want). no problem with this i think.
