i have a baby turtle maybe 3 inches or 4 and he does eat alot but ive yet to se any poo....
does it come out in terds, or is it runny? and also what color should it be... do they usaly poo on land or water> thanks

When I had turtles, the poop was smooth, about as thick as a pencil, about 1/2 long. It was EVERYWHERE! It was a light brown or tan.

Generally for healthy poo it should be solid. It's usually a brownish greenish color, depending on the of food you feed it (different types have very different diets). As for land or water depends on the type again, but for my tortoise he loves to go soak in his bath or water dish and go in there. Probably the reason he/she hasn't gone yet, is because of diet and environment changes. Most pet stores don't take the best care of there animals.

if he is new it may take a while...it is brown and if he is a water turtle it will happen in the water and if it is a land turtle it will happen on land...usally.. for ur turtl size the droppings will be about the size of a dime.
