I was on depo for a 1.5 years in 2003-2004. When I came off, I got pregnant right away. I went back on it after my daughter was born, and stayed on for a year and a half. I got my last shot in June. I got a period on December 24th, but it was followed by sparatic bleeding. Then I got a period on Jan 25th. That was followed by some sparatic bleeding at well. But I haven't gotten another period yet. I'm getting worried that depo fried my ovaries!!! Has anybody had a similar experience? I took a preg test 1 weeks ago and it was negative.

I took depo for a little over a year when I was 22, and I have suffered from infertility since then (8 years). After years of testing on both my husband and me, the doctors an find no reason why we would be infertile. Sometimes I wonder if it was the depo, but who knows? It may just take longer for your body to get back in stride as you are older than you were the last times you stopped. I hope it all goes back to normal soon!

i was on the depo shot for 6 months and then the pill for another 6 months now we've been trying to get pregnant for a year and 6 months and so far nothing i think the depo is the reason im not getting pregnant. when i was on the depo i bleed constantly all day thats why i got on the pill. your cycle will get regular it took mine at least 2 months to get regular

I was on depo 10 years. Was off 3 months, never got my period, but was all of a sudden pregnant. Although I did get hellish migraines each month for those 3 months. Now Im back on depo, no more migraines.

When I was on depo I never got my period and I was on it for 2 years. Also, I had a very hard time to get pregnant after I stop taking it.. It took me almost 2 years to get pregnant. I hear it is very common for your period to stop w/ depo

i was on depo for a year and a half as well, had 2 regular periods when going off of it.. then they stopped!! but don't worry, your body is just adjusting, it'll even out. I had tests, and my ovaries are fine, so I wouldn't worry about that. :)
