Have you often been bored when not doing something you're truly interested in? Maybe you've got a light case of ADD. Or maybe you're just not that interested in anything right now and like the distraction and attention.
Or maybe Yahoo! is poisoning our minds.

I think it's an addiction and taking an interest of what your doing and been communicate with the Yahoo Strangers, and the same time you feel accomplish by sharing, and been part of Yahoo's life too. I have to get up every day early and I'm also just like you, cann't sleep, and making me some times crazy, feel, that we're some kind of strange Friends and would love to send messages through our thoughts and How we feel one another by helping, caring each other.when ever I'm restless i come to my computer and click on Yahoo. It's kind of addiction and some point need to get more points, or I read most Question and answers and enjoy and same time learn day by day each topic answers given by others. If you need to sleep early, then you got to limit Yahoo, or try to do your work on the Computer day time. When a Person so loyal to the job, or what ever your'e interest of doing, that makes you feel like doing before you go to sleep, even late night. If you want to sleep early with out been tyied up on the computer, I suggest, you should take a sleeping pill for you to sleep, and prevent of working on the compure at late night.

its not necessarily an addiction but it is definitely a fixation or a minor obsession at this point if you're putting it before your well being/health. You should get some rest and not be on Q & A all night. Then again, I've been there, done that! Not here but other places in the past...it's fun but it'll catch up to you! It'll pass!

I've done it too. I've stayed on the computer with every part of my body aching--knowing I should get off and lie down--but I still don't.
A lot of people say that they are addicted to Answers, and it is possible to become addicted to anything in this world, so I'd say we're hooked. :)

Sad to say, when you cannot control your urges to do something and persistently do an activity though it negatively affects another(preferring Q.A over sleep) , its an addiction.
You are tired. but your mind is active because it thinks of Y! Q&A.
try to focus. think of whats more important.

There is always a goal. when you come in new, you need some points, you try to reach a level. When comfortable with a level , you want to increase you percentage. Then you truly want to help people.
It is a puzzlemant!

Perhaps it's a little of that and perhaps it's a little of having no social life? Myself I have few choices and this and TV seem to be one screen trade off for another.
