not really. Rain is the thing that happens when water comes from the sky, not a little girls name. If you insist on ruining your daughter's life by giving her an odd name which every kid will make fun of her everytime it rains out, you might want to spell it Rayne instead of the Rain way.

I had a friend who named her three children, triplets, River, Rain, and Rapids. I thought I could handle River and Rain, but Rapids was bit much lol. They are now seven years old, and the names have grown on me.

rain is a cute name for a GIRL!! but one day is she going to a 52 yr old woman with slightly graying hair, rounded stomach , sagging skin?? yes so no rain is not a good name for a future grown woman

I can see this is one of those that some people lOVE it and some HATE it. I really LOVE it and its not so off the wall that people wont get used to it. I say go for it but I agree to spell it different

I like it I have a friend who named her daughter Rayne. Its a cool name. I liked this spelling better just looks neat.

If YOU and your partner like it...that is all that matters. You cant let other peoples opinions sway your choice in naming your baby. It just gets too confusing. You cant satisfy everyone.
I like it. I like different names. I think it adds character.
