There are many forms and softwares out there you can use. I got an sba loan and you should not take the business plan lightly. It is very important to show all the information. Market analysis, the % of market share you intend to control. Your imediate competitors, the % of market they control. What makes you unique. What are the demands of customers. How do you fulfill these demands. Cash flow forecast (perdiction of income). Your budget including all expenses and incomes. Profit loss calculations. etc. Think that the person at the other end of the desk as never been or heard of a restaurant. Your plan should have all the information to educate and answer all questions. Don't let it be incomplete that they hand it back and say no. They are also looking at your abition and passion towards business. Knowledge and who you hire as management including cpa, lawyer, adv agency and so forth.

Start with office depot or stationary store for a business plan software that includes restaurant. If you have a friend or family member in that business pick their brain for info on much of the info.

good luck
