they certainly are, they're currently in the #1 spot for best animated show of all time.....so wich episodes do you consider your favorite???
mine are
Last Exit to Springfield- (the one when Lisa had to get braces)
Homer's Barber Shop Quartet-( because all the Beatles refrences, also George Harrison is a guest star in the episode)
and
" Weekend at Burnsie's"- this episode is just great for so many reasons, in this episode Homer gets a prescription for medicinal marijuana,(i think that says it all) it also contains one of my favorite lines of all time “Okay let’s see… toke as needed. Caution: objects may appear more edible than they actually are.”

I really can't pick three...i like the one when the shelbyville kids steal the lemon tree...the simpsons never get old :)

i luv the simpsons! i dont know which one is my fave but i always love the halloween specials the best. i love the political references too!
