well i was recently reading through yahoo avatar and i found a few threads about Santana, santana rocks yet it seemed that no one knew who he was............ i was under the assumption that he was pretty much a guitar legend, was i wrong?

you are right he is a legend. but half of these kids are in love with that death metal crap and all that emo crap that try's to pass itself off as music.

Yes.. Carlos Santana.. amazing guitarist... played at Woodstock in 1969

Santana is very talented. He was the only person to perform at Woodstock in 69 and then again in 99.

you're very right. carlos santana has been rockin' for as long as i can remember. my older bro turned me onto him in the 60's. i can pick out his guitar sounds from a mile away. could be it was the youngins who don't know about him. i love the old stuff the best. everybody's everything is my fave. great percussion.
