I don't put a lot of my things in the dryer but when I put them on the drying rack, they tend to have a lot of lint on them. I don't have time to use a lint brush everyday so I have to find an answer to this problem.

I have the same problem. So far I do one or more of five things. 1. Use a 3m type lint roller when I put on the clothes (it goes much faster than a lint brush) 2. De-Lint the line dry clothes while watching tv using masking tape or a 3m lint roller. 3. wash clothing by material type and color. 4. throw the clothes in the dryer on air fluff (no heat) for 15 minutes after they are dry. 5. use a damp cloth to wipe out the washing machine before using it (if lint is visible in machine) None of them is the perfect answer, but the "no lint" washing machine balls and similar products are useless.

You should feel happy that the Washing Machines [Driers] are designed to collect the Lint. Unless you can use the very best of spun materials which will not shred lints during the tumble you have to put up with the cleaning.

All Manufacturers do warn us in the Hand book / operating manual about how the efficiency drops if your lint filter is clogged.

I have the habit of cleaning the Lint filter every time I finish one load. This way there is no need to remember it before starting the next load.

Some materials have more lint like towels, chenille, fleece, etc. these materials should be washed separately from the lint grabbers. Or wash like colors together that way the lint is the same color and won't show up as badly.

had the same Q and problem before. Am told to clean the lint bag after every wash or next each wash. It works most of the time.

Dryers tear up your clothing fibers causing lint. many clothes these days are wash and wear which means they can be shook out after washing and placed on hangers, then manually smoothed out. This makes your clothes last a lot longer. A portable steamer can be used for touch ups if you desire.
