cameras lie like crazy. Photoshop was invented to fix the mess up bad camera and bad photographers make and also to make not so attractive people attractive. Red eye, uneven skintone, bad tint etc.

Nope it's because the camera lies all the time. It adds weight and red eye making people look fat and evil.

Sometimes cameras do lie. Stuff like double exposures (many of which have been blamed on ghosts, believe it or not).
