Yes if they are herbal remedies. For instance, chamomile is known to help calm your anxieties and help you to sleep.

Green tea can help prevent cancer, lose weight and is good for skin.

Yes and No.

Drinking tea can make you feel calm and relaxed which definitly helps for panic and anxiety attacks. As drinking tea can help with cramps. Also drinking honey and lemon tea helps when you have a sore throat (antioxidants in the lemons and honey are good for you and help you get better). Cranberry tea (and juice) can help your bladder rid itself of bacteria (ever wonder why you have to pee so much after drinking or eating cranberries? That's why.)

How ever some teas don't actually do anything. And some teas (like a magical tea that is supposed to make you never get sick) are fake.

Of course.

You can get different herbs at the health food stores, and sometimes the grocery store.

A good herb book such as "The Herbalist:" by Meyer books will tell you the things the assorted herbs can be used for. I like the Herbalist because it specifies the herbs that can be taken internally, and if the herb should not be taken internally; don;t use it internally.

Tea is one good way of taking herbs internally.

I also like "The Herbalist" because the book also tells how to make tinctures, ointments, plants that can be used as dye, etc.

Teas of all kinds have been around for 1000s of years and people have been around for 1000s of years and only the tea drinkers of the last 100 years or so have any chance of being alive. So, go figure

The right herbs can benifit all sorts of ailments and diseases. Not all are useful as "teas". Some herbs taste so bad as a "tea" that drinking them are almost impossible.
There are many ways to take herbs besides as a "tea"
