Many times the rapid hormone changes that go on during pregnancy can cause changes in discharge. If your discharge has become white, thick, clumpy, appears like cottage cheese, smells of beer or bread, it may be a yeast infection. If this is the first time you've had one, you should see your doctor to diagnose it, though many yeast infection treatments are available over the counter. Still, treating a vaginal infection that isn't a yeast infection with yeast infection medications may cause more problems.

Bacterial vaginosis is another common infection in pregnant women. Symptoms of BV often include a thin, watery , sometimes greyish discharge, which often has a fishy smell, and may become stronger smelling after sex. BV usuall requires antibiotics to treat, and it's important to treat it-it can cause pregnancy complications like premature labor.

If you're concerned about the discharge, or think it indicates an infection, give your doctor a call.

Had the same thing about the same time when I was pregnant. More than likely it is bacterial vaginosis (kinda like a yeast infection) brought on by a multitude of factors, including hormones, diet, etc. You must call your doctor, but in the meantime, you can help with symptoms by drinking loads of water, and cutting back on sugar and starch. Don't use feminine deoderant products or perfumed pantyliners. This upsets the situation more. Harsh soaps should be avoided as well.

It is most likely a yeast infection, you need to go to your doctor. The yeast infection kits that you buy in the store arent strong enough, you need to get a prescription one. I was reading about it today. Its very common for women to get yeast infections during pregnancy, dont be embarased.

Ask your doctor. That is normal in some pregnancy but you don't want to buy anything over the counter & use during pregnancy unless it's ok with you doc. Ask if you can use baby powder or Summer's Eve. It will go away.

It is very normal to have increased discharge in pregnancy. I think it is called Lukorea or something. I am sure you are fine as long as there is no itching or swelling. Call you doc in the morning just to make sure. Good luck..

Don't try to cure it yourself, you need an OB/GYN to diagnose your problem. It could be a bladder or yeast infection. Also discharge thickens when you're pregnant, its because of the mucus plug in your cervix, but even so, it shouldn't smell bad at all.

It sounds like a yeast infection. You should contact your OBGYN for a remedy.
