Ok, I have a guild with lots of members. I made a guild bank and I lend money to people then they have to pay me later. So I put the people who I loan money to on a list. I also ask people for donations of items and money. If they make a donation they can buy items in the bank depending on how much the items they donate to the bank are worth and the amount of money they donate. I use the money they donate for the people who I lend money to. Next I take away some of money the people borrow from the amount the items they donate are worth. Is there a more profitable way to do this?

You have a lot of work to do if you are the guild banker...been there, done that....

What I do is I keep track of the items sent to the bank, rather than the money...the money goes towards the tabbard, and future tabard changes if needed.

Then, once every two days, I would hold a Guild Auction and sell all of the accumulated items...the donator would recieve 50% of the profit from the item, and the bank keeps the rest.

As long as you aren't getting a whole lot of useless white and low level greens, you should be able to make a pretty steady profit, and so will the player donating for the auction!
