I don't think that's true at all, there are bigots of every race and age. Everyone wants to think they are better than everyone else. I think its good for people to be proud of their heritage and personally I enjoy diversity.

One thing to think about though, some people (of all colors and ages) like to find an excuse as to why things don't go their way. If they're black its because white people are keeping them down, if they're white its because foreigners are taking all the jobs, if they're young its because old people won't give them a chance. etc, etc, etc. There is a bit of truth to all of these statements but the best thing people can do is make the most of your gifts (everyone has some) and stop blaming everyone else for your problems. You're right, we're all just like everybody else. Trust me, if we all were exactly alike what do you want to bet some people would still find a reason to think their better than everyone else. :-)

Wow! I am a white mother of 3, grandmother of 1. If there is anything I'm proud of is teaching my kids to "judge people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin." ( to paraphrase Martin Luther King Jr.) I was a kid when he died. But even though I was a kid I unstood the power and greatness of his words. Everyone in my family has had friends of many colors, religions, nationalities and creeds. I believe there is only one race the human race. I feel sorry for you if you truly believe what you wrote. If you don't believe that any white people can be respectful of you as a person, then you may not find them. I hope sincerely that you do.

I live in nz and none of the white or even black people think they are better then other people.... In nz colour doesnt matter..... so in my opinion white people dont really think they are better its just your purspective on what u think they think of you...
