I can't do rhymes in my head, so no singing ;D

A theater group I'm in is doing a talent show and they asked everyone to be in it. Problem is, I have no time to practice my act! So... since I'm fairly good at improv, I'll give it a shot.

Anyone know a good game to play? I want to give the audience the chance to make up something or another.

Hi Sarah
What I like about improv is the togetherness, and I found it a lot easier to bounce ideas with fellow performers but if you absolutely got to be on your own, you could try a couple of games like "then what?" or "her name was?" (see links bellow) replacing player B by the audience.
Good luck!

Props is fun, its a game played with three items gathered at random from the audience, there are two teams, and each team makes the prop something other than what it is. They take one line per turn, and after a five second pause, the last team to go wins the round. The third prop is to be used only as a tie breaker.

Party Quarks is also fun. The audience assigns each person a quark, and they act that quark out. The host, who was out of earshot during the assignment, then tries to guess what quark each party goer has. When the host correctly guesses, the guest leaves.

There are a lot of other fun ones, like expando, die, and Shakespeare. Look them up on the internet. There are whole books written on improvs.
