America will eventually fall into a socialist environment and government, because the people do not want to be taken off of the tit of the government.

I hope not. America has a better government than Europe did back then. They were a monarchy, whereas here in America we are capitalism.

the european union will prove to be everything americans, especially republicans want in a system. small 'national' govt. with strong 'states rights'. Thanks to the EU, europe is united and on the rise, whereas the u.s. is already falling behind. European education is superior, standards of living higher, minimum wage is double that of the u.s., combined military strength will be no. 1.

We are already following the same pattern that england did when they became a part of the EU. Next its the NAU, and the amero.
