Yes, cloning is a controversy in this modern society. There are 2 main sides(as usually). For and Against...For-usually liberals who hate conservatives (ME! I wanna make conservatives suffer for the short-sightednes. I wanna see their blood gushing from their crippled, distorted, bodies. I wanna make them cry for their mommies..eww) or sum ppl who wanna improve society, Against- usually ppl who fear cloning as it is against society(the society from the past not the future)...There r some neutrals(me also), they r aware of the pros and cons, So im for cloning(the benefits cannot be ignored but neither can the bad stuff like clone armies, conspiracys, mutants, etc. Progress happens when ur going forward, make mistakes, learn from them...we wont know anything about cloning until we try =) The keyword here is empericism!

against! There are so many living pets who deserve a second chance who don't get one because some super-rich person wants to clone her dog. Also, it's unnatural and could lead to the cloning of humans and all sorts of chaotic situations like that movie with Arnold Swarzhenegger. And we don't know the long-term effects of cloning, so eating cloned beef isn't a good idea.

i'm against cloning an entire individual, yet no longer against cloning particular organs. i think of to clone a human might convey too many legal themes like, what to placed on beginning certificates, who're the real mothers and dads, SSN, etc. yet while scientists have been to boost in straight forward terms a liver or a heart on a petri dish so that's implanted into somebody who desires it, im advantageous with that.

I'm against cloning because it messes with the strength of genetic diversity and puts too much in the hands of scientists. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. There are many subtleties to the human body that science doesn't understand and this could lead to alot of pain for the clones.
One of human beings most human qualities is being unique. We all seem to want to express our individualness. This just doesn't lend itself to that need.

I am a naturalistic person no.1 so of course I AM AGAINST CLONING! no.2 if something is cloned it doesn't`t have a soul or spirit so it is an empty shell unless something enters it from a different plane of consciousness no.3 I SAW A NEWS BROADCAST ABOUT VERY-VERY SICK COWS THAT WERE CLONED COWS

I think cloning should only be used for cloning the person who provided the cloning material.
In other words, it would be nice to have my own spare parts in this life.

For it under certain conditions. Especially those conditions where you can benefit people who need organs. I heard recently about how the medical/science community was able to grow bladders. The bladders were a little too small but the people who grew them thought they would get bigger as time went on.

against, i have two young daughters, ages 5 and 7, and i don't want their kids to marry people that you don't know where they came from. that's just not of GOD.
if you do that, there will be 25 of some people. just like the amish got the chia pet beards, they can't grow full beards, they are too closely inbred. that's what will happen to all of man kind. everyone will look alike and act alike. that's not of GOD.
