If you want serious advice, don't listen too much to that colleen_o girl - there's a reason she's a "top contributor" in the "divorce" category.
To answer your question - yes, you know you have to tell him in person. He might freak out. It's as much his responsibility as it is yours (seemingly) - he should have opted to use protection.
Hopefully my answer was a bit better than Colleen's. Sorry that she's vile, rude, and foul.

Go to a doctor and get a pregnancy test. The doctor can then write a note that you are indeed pregnant and how far along you are. All a person needs to do to get pregnant is have sex without protection at the right time. My friend got pregnant the very first time she had sex. It happens.
You should talk to each other in person. He probably had a hard time believing you because you texted him instead of telling him in person.

Dear Girl, you are in big trouble. First of all why did you go out with him when you knew he was married? Then you have sex with him without the proper protection? He thinks you are joking because he doesn't want it to be true. When you see him in person and you tell him you are definitely pregnant do you really think he will leave his family for you? You are sadly mistaken if you think he will. I don't believe in abortion, but you should consider having the child and giving it up for adoption. I don't want to preach, but when you have sex with someone there is always the chance of pregnancy. Why are you so surprised that you may be pregnant? Listen, you know the old saying, "You Play, you Pay". That is the moral of the story. I wish you well, but don't count on him leaving his wife and children for you..it will never happen.

Let him know that you are not joking and that you are very serious about this. I sure hope he does not buck and run on you as it seems to me like he may not want this child at all or be ready for it. If he denies being the father then prove it is his child once it is born with a paternity dna test. He may wonder if he is the father or not. Good luck to you.

Telling him by phone is a joke. Perhaps, that is why he does not believe you? You should try calling him or stopping by where he lives to tell him in person. Maybe he just needs to hear it a few times. He'll believe when he pays child support. :)

Ok, you are going to have a child and the best way you can think of communicating this is by text? You have alot of growing up to do in hte next 9 months, honey.

Why should he think it's his? You went out for only a few months, you didn't use protection even though it was "one of those days when you can get pregnant" Here's a hint honey...ANYDAY you don't use protection you CAN get pregnant. So anyway you spread your legs...And he is supposed to take you seriously? Why should he, you are obviously what is known as "easy" and you were obviously looking to get pregnant Guess you're just going to have to wait until it's born to get a DNA test done huh?

So what's your problem? You didn't see this coming? The rule is 'no sex unless you are married to the person'. Rules are made to save you pains. Do not expect sympathy in adverse consequences of breach.

Why would that be your choice of communication for such an important topic? Was he avoiding you or were you unable to talk to him in person? I guess he's married?

Show him the results of your pregnancy test if you've seen a doctor. And be prepared to take a paternity test.
