My first thought was Florida. Illinois is a close 2nd.

I have long believed that we should cut off Ohio below Columbus and divide it among Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
If we had to sell one, my first choice would be Alaska... it's days away from anywhere else... but I can't see us selling it because of the oil.
Also, I think one of the states on the interior of the country... because it would be funny if there was just a hole in the middle of the country.
Or Texas... they want to be their own country... why don't we let them?

I've a much better, and more lucrative idea.
Let's sell one of the Southwestern states back to Mexico. Then, when that state degenerates into the same condition as the rest of Mexico, the inhabitants will rebel, and rejoin the U.S.
So, we'll get money, and get the land back.

north and south dakota, arkansas, oklahoma, florida, lousiana. alabama, most state in the hurricane alley and state in tornado alleys.
