Moving your boyfriend in probably isn't going to set a good example for 2 teens. Perhaps you should either get married to him or live apart.

ask the teens first, do you like the man, cause I do. We want to live together and make it a family - see if its ok with them first esp. at their age, as you know teens can be quite a handful these days and esp. if they are female too. (you know what I mean) - and if all is ok then yeah go ahead and see if it works out, but do you truly want this to happen yet, or could it wait a little longer til they get older, weigh up the positives and the negatives about him moving in.

Man, would you all just get out of the dark ages!!!!! "shacking up"...."get married or live apart".....For crying out loud, this is the 21st century!!!! I lived with a boyfriend for a year and I lived with another boyfriend for a short while before we became married....That's just how things are done nowadays. It won't mess up the kids. It won't teach them bad morals.
Honey, talk it over and find out what your teens' thoughts are on this guy and how they would feel about him moving in. You might get some resistance from them, but that's normal. They might be looking at it as some strange guy moving in on their father's territory. Hell, they might not care! They might be fine with it as long as it makes you happy.
But you bible thumping holy rollers need to get a life!!!!

Wow, that's setting a good example...shacking up? No! Your kids are gonna think it's ok to live with someone without being married. Why don't you wait until you're married? Why do you need to move in together? You're going down a messy road...I'd wait.

Incredibly carefully, if at all. This can be immensely hard for them. Also, I would make sure that living with your boyfriend is the kind of example you want to set for them while they're in highschool. If they know mom is having sex with her boyfriend, what does that suggest they should do in their relationships?

I don't think a mother should move her boyfriend into her house when she has children still living at home. There is no reason you can't live in seperate houses.

If it were me I wouldn't. Not if I'm trying to teach morals and vaules to my teens.
