How come guys are soo into football, whats the big deal with a bunch of guys in tight uniforms chacing a ball around & like beating each other up over it, I swear! ok I like the hottie guys in the tight stuff :-X some peeps are crzy when it comes to that sport stuff

It's not just the guys.
It's all about guys putting their all out there on the field for a group of guys who in essence are much more then teammates. You get to watch them push the envelope on what the human body can withstand. And when it's a team you've watched for years, you can't help but be passionate about it.
And you haven't experienced the best of life until you've been in a stadium of 45,000+ fans cheering for one team and seeing guys that do things that in any other place, should defy physics. It will literally give you goosebumps.
When you grow up watching football, it's something that becomes literally ingrained in you. I don't think you can fully appreciate it until you learn enough about that you understand what's going on. That seems to be a barrier for a lot of girls who don't watch football. Even if you just go and get Football for Dummies or something, do it because you'll love it when you learn how it works.
I wonder about a guy I meet that DOESN'T love football.
For us ladies, the guys in tight pants are just a bonus ; )

Sports are popular in every part of the world.
In most places, football is what Americans call soccer. FIFA, the world governing body of soccer, has more member nations in it than the UN.
People love sports, period. In the US, native sports tend to be the most popular. Baseball, football, and basketball are the most popular sports in the US.
I am a very bad example of men being nuts over sports. I take one week of my 2 weeks vacation around the NFL draft. I spend 2 days in my comfy chair and watch grass grow for what most people would think. Then again, I watch all of the televised hours of the 24 hours at Le Mans and Daytona, too.
It's in man's competitive nature.

I think many guys get together, get drunk and act like idiots, but true football fans are cool headed like me. I will support my team quietly until they score. Then I stand up, applaud, and most importanly, I don't drink. I keep the volume all the way down on the TV because the announcers are absolutely annoying and I know what I'm seeing anyway. But why worry about it? Let them be themselves. Football ain't for everybody.

It is not that we love football more than God. It is the fact that we are men and we enjoy being able to brag about our team. We would brag about women but they usually don't understand how guys are and so they ask questions trying to figure it out. Men are the defenders of the house through out history so we had to learn to fight to defend. With football it is a primal need to see people fight just like gladiators. If I tell you more I will get killed(haha).

it's an interesting contact sport that anyone can play (you might not be good but you can play). and also, don't ever insult football or i'm going to be very unhappy i'm one of those guys who goes goo goo over football.

It's a mix of hard hitting, fast running, impossible catches, and other miraculous plays that make the game so exhilirating!!!
It is one of the most amazing things to watch in person or on TV!

it is WAY more than that i mean come on it is clean violence...well sometimes clean. and i love football plus if u understand what they r doing and that they play for the love of the sport then it all works out
