Personality...I don't know why but even if I tried I can't hang out with people whose personality I don't like. Plus, personality to me is a natural attraction that eventually merges into appearance (in other words I don't reely notice the appearance of sumone-its only their personality i c). Then again my eyesight has never been too strong...but that is the honest truth..

I'm a guy, so its appearance of course. You asked about going after someone, not marrying them. So you ladies, do you like, see a stranger who has a great personality and think to yourself mmmmm I want a piece of that! If I was dating an 18 year old supermodel and she was the most obnoxious bastard I ever met, I would see to it that my friends saw me with her, at least once, before she dumped me.

I usually fall for personality first. If someone cares enough about their appearance, ie: dresses nicely, looks after themselves; then appearance becomes important as well.

Well when you first see someone you don't see their personality, that comes later. So whether people admit it or not, it's appearance. If you saw the ugliest person on earth, you wouldn't approach them to see how their personality was. I think I made my point.

I'd say there personality shapes there appearance. Personally, I'd go for there personality there looks is just the bonus!

I usually am attracted to appearance at first. Not how good you look, but are your bathed, are you clothes dirty, do you stink. Then if you make it past there and I get to know you, it's the personality that is most important.
