Once you sign a military contract, can you ask for another after realizing that what you wanted is not what you are going to get.

Well, I know you can get out of the contract by not going to basic. I have been told they can be reworked but it isn't an easy task.

If you have not taken the oath of enlistment you can change your contract or cancel it if you want. The recruiters will try to tell you that you cant do it and that you are locked in. If you want something changed in your contract, tell them and tell them you will not go if they dont change it. They have to accept your wishes and your request. If you have taken the oath....well you are just going to have to suck it up and press on. You can always cross train into a different job down the road. The bottom line is that you are not government property until you take the oath of enlistment.

NOPE= If your afraid to be a part of our great nation and do what has to be done when you sign up to defend our nation, then why would want to make demands. Like watada if it were up to me i'd court-marshall him strip him of rank put him in prison for 10 years then send him back to his own country. He had S.Korea ribbons.

Yes, with some tap dancing. Nothing is "FINAL" until you have graduated basic.
