why are people so obbsessed with my eyes?

People are obbsessed with my eyes. im not even close to kidding. I constantly have people completly switch topics and say to me "oh my god, i love your eyes, the color is amazing!" it happens at least 3 times a day and in the most random situations. we can go from talking about something COMPLETLY differant, and they will suddenly be on about my eyes. i am well aware that they are not an average color (they are an exceptionally strange blue color, and look like they have a firey glow going on...no one can place an exact name for the color). its a little irritating. like, its flattering and all, but i NEVER bring them up, and i cant ever look people in the eye because they always end up focusing on mine. are people just that amused by things they havent seen before?

i am not asking this for a narcisistic reason. im genuinly curious, because i want to know if there is something peculiar about them, that has some sort of religous or spiritual significance that im not aware of? like, blue eyes mean that i am insert quality here? and im looking for better ways to deal with people constantly commenting on them, because ignoring it sometimes doesnt turn out well.

working on getting a pic, i have one that is just my eyes but it doesnt really translate well on screen, it makes them look dull. i will try to put a picture up as soon as possible!
