Pets are always good if you have a pet or just go to yahoo image search and search for something cool. You are creative think of a cool one.
P.S I know your creative because it looks like you put lots of effort into your avatar.

I try to keep a simple background, that way you can find things faster on the desktop.
Pick something with good form, a sketch of something you like, an interesting tattoo or abstract lines, and place it in front of a solid color. It won't distract but still makes a statement.

go to sceensavers. They have all kinds wallpaper too. Just pick something that describes the person you are.
