I know its wrong to find other peoples beliefs funny but this friend of my dads was over at our house a while ago and was saying that gays caused hurricane Katrina and the tsunami. No he wasn't drunk or anything he actually believed that.

I've heard some wacky things in my life, but the people that still believe the earth is flat take the cake. I met one of these people in college, and nothing any of us could tell him would change his mind.

Christianity is a pretty funny thing that too many people have been sucked into. Its a crutch really, and thats OK to beleive if you are weak and need it. But it is very outlandish. I beleive your friend's Dad was vaguely on the right track, only he is probably redneck, so couldn't quite put it into words. All that was casued be people because.....Overpopulation....natures way of bringing down the count. We breed too much and the earth is way over capacity. Sounds harsh....but in the big picture is right. So wasn't just gays....was everyone. He probably just doesnt like gays, therefore would rather blame them then himself and his mating ways.

your question did make me think of another thing tho - winding up gullible people who will believe anything they're told! We all know someone like this, a girl I know who's like this we would often wind her up....like the time we had her believing they had camera's in the day of Henry VIII ..lol

I cannot convince my dad that Area 51 is just a secret testing base...no aliens, no ET's...it's just a cool military test center and a high security facility.

I believe that it's absurd to think that the lunar landings didn't happen. Ranking right up there would be to deny the holocaust.

Well one of my friends actually belives that skim milk is colder than 2% milk even if they are the same temperature its really wierd! She honestly belives it!
