How can i become more confident in all aspects of life: social and althletically mainly?

I am very socially shy and am not my true self. (At home i am very outgoing and loud but when i am around others i become very quiet and self consious. For sports i believe everyone else is better than me

Realize that you're as good as everyone else - everyone has their own gifts and talents. Don't sell yourself short.

Sometimes we're afraid people won't like us if we're our true selves. The truth is that some people will like you and some won't - regardless of how you are. That's okay. Just be yourself and you'll be fine.
