why are there so many smartass out there to correct everyone when they know what they mean how annoying and?

Sometimes that is the case.

In other situations, the person is trying to be funny. Or trying to help the poster actually learn something, so the poster can be more effective at saying whatever they are trying to say.

As with many things, the motivation behind the action matters.

Well, it would seem to me that if you are old enough to express an opinion or ask a question, you should be old enought to SPELL, use proper GRAMMAR, use punctuation, use capitalization, express a thought in a complete sentence and an idea in a paragraph.

People who just jabber on and on aren't smart enough to get any answer one might give, aren't educated enough to present intelligent questions....so those of us who have the skills and the intelligence just ignore ya.

Well, sometimes for me, bad grammar is annoying. So is a person with inaccurate facts. It is annoying to try and respond to something, with the person posting the question blasting you for your inaccuracies.

I guess if one wants to complain about something, or ask someone's opinion about something, they should at least attempt to get the facts and grammar right. . .

I misspelled a word and got corrected. I hate that. I guess I need to use spell check. Usually I don'e even notice it. I just hate getting corrected.
