People should also recognize what Native Americans went through, I do agree with that. Almost every race and ethnicity that wasn't WASP has been through some form of discrimination here; the Irish, the Italians, the African-Americans, the Hispanic/Latino community, the Asian community, the Muslim/Arabic community, anyone who isn't the media's representation of "white-bread" America. So please, realize we've all been through some discrimination.

There was an attempted (and in the case of many tribes) genocide of Native Americans.

There were also millions of Jews (as well as hundreds of thousands of other ethnic groups) killed during WW2.

You can ask the descendants of both, but WW2 was a lot more recent, so there is a lot more first-hand testimony.
