Did Ice Cube "Sell Out" when he started doing Kids Movies?

Man, I remember when Ice Cube was a hard core rapper. Not that I agreed with all the things he would say in his music, but I did respect the man for making it real.

Now, I'm sad. I think he's selling out to the mouse. Doing all these kiddie movies and looking stupid, it must be the money. At least Eddie Murphy tried to keep some respect doing Dr. Dolittle. What do you think?

he kinda did sell from N.W.A to dumb kids movies, even Ice T kept it real. hopefully ice cube will find a clue.
